My sneezing cat!

Another gloomy Edmonton day. It was -10 with a -20 windchill. A perfect setting for the big Mark Messier Day. I have to say Mark is not one of my favorite Oilers from the Gretzky days. They are going to name a portion of St Albert Trail after him. Give me a break we have deep pot holes going on here! If you are visiting good luck driving. You need a Hummer on our roads now.

The count down to spring is on

Today it is cold still at -15. Still have about 3 feet of snow on the ground. This doesn't bother me ,this kind of weather. In fact, I love the winter. It is a must to barbeque what ever the tempature is. Lucky me that I have a covered alcove on my balcony so no problem. Great meal tonight. Everybody get into the pork thing. Yummy Yummy!

Muddy dirty snow!

Hello there,

It's plus 6 and it is starting to melt. Residential streets look like wind rows of muck with no place to go in the drainage. How nice of the City of Edmonton to do such a great job" NOT!" It has been hilarious to navigate my car down the sludge of mush. That was my no brainer choosing a car in 1995 that is low like a go-cart. This is Alberta for crying out loud! I should have known better that the snow would come again. So with that I will one day own a PT Cruiser.
